Have you ever wondered what it would be like to run an Italian restaurant?
Simply crazy, deliciously addictive, but mostly FUN! Pick the right
ingredients, make the dish, cook it (if you have to), serve it, take empty
dishes out...MAMMA MIA! Did you make the wrong dish? Did you overcook it? Then
start the order from scratch...but watch out for the other customers: they
still want to be served on time!
All of this finally comes true with MangiaMangia! To the backround notes of a
revisited and famous song, "That's Amore", you play the role of chef GAETANO,
owner of MangiaMangia Restaurant, to create, cook, and serve the most typical
Italian dishes! PIZZA (with different toppings), BRUSCHETTA, CAPRESE, LASAGNA,
various PASTA, POLPETTE (the famous MEATBALLS) just to name a few of the
succulent dishes you're going to make...But what about wine? And limoncello,
that famous lemon-flavoured liquor? No problem, MangiaMangia Restaurant takes
care of that! It's an Italian place after all, and the drinks are on the house,
just to keep customers happy ;-)
Customers come, place their orders and need to be served on time. Happy
customers leave more money thus allowing you to advance to the next levels,
where new ingredients will be discovered, new dishes with different levels of
complexity will be made, and more customers will, very frequently, come :-)
But what if you don't make it to the next level? It's very likely you're going
to try it again and again right away, or, you just take a break for a snack, or
a meal...after all, this good Italian food will surely make you hungry ;-)
MangiaMangia is a FUN GAME, with BEAUTIFUL GRAPHICS, and an ADDICTIVE GAMEPLAY!
We, at LittleGame, have already several ideas on the line for improving
MangiaMangia's next versions. New ingredients, and new dishes are the natural
follow-up, but penalties for wrong dishes, or for customers that leave being
partially served, are our current work in progress, for instance. In addition,
we're planning about making different skins, thematic meals (e.g., pasta menus,
meat and fish menus, pizza menus, dessert menus), tunable difficulty (e.g.,
start as an apprentice, sous chef, chef, and ninja chef), and much more!
But MangiaMangia is really YOUR restaurant, indeed! Tell us what you think of
it, and how we can really improve it. Please, leave us a review directly on the
Apple Store or send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org -- after all, we do
really appreciate your business :-)
HOW TO PLAY
1. Customers come and place orders in speech bubbles, then TAP on the
ingredients to compose a dish, and TAP on the cutting board to make the
2. DRAG the dish onto the brick oven to cook it, but REMEMBER: not all dishes
need to be cooked (CHECK the recipes' book) and don't overcook them, or
they'll get burned!
3. DRAG the ready-to-go dish to the customer and REMEMBER: the faster you are,
the more money you'll make! On the other hand, DRAG overcooked or wrong
dishes onto the trash can, but REMEMBER: your mistakes may cost you some
4. Drinks are now on the house and keep customers happy! DRAG the bottle onto
the glass and DRAG the glass to the customer, but REMEMBER: a customer can
only have either a dish or a glass at the same time, not both!
5. TAP on dirty dishes or empty glasses so that customers could be served
again...and just come up with your best strategy to win ;-)
Finally, don't know how to make a dish? TAP on the recipes book and...MANGIA
